As our Finance Director, Datin Tea is responsible for diversifying and expanding our businesses through financial planning. Since 2005, she started investing actively in properties, where great profit is reaped through her financial intelligence, thereby enhancing the strong financial status of our Group.

Mr Tee Kun Shen

After attaining his Graduate Diploma of Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne, a promising career lies ahead of Mr Tee. Since January 2017, Mr Tee started accumulating precious experience in marketing and business strategies, that will no doubt bring him to greater heights in the future.

Mr Hee Chee Keong

Not only is Mr Hee a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), he is also an expert in due diligence, IPOs, issuance of warrants, corporate and debt restructuring processes for a wide array of industries. With his expertise in finance, auditing and business strategies, Mr Hee’s addition to the Board definitely brings greater spark to our business.

Dato’ Yeong Kok Wah is Dato’ Low’s partner for numerous businesses for almost 10 years. Dato’ Yeong engages with external stakeholders and thus establishing a strong and wide network. Dato’ Yeong also engages in forwarding services and apparel retailing business.

PAWNBROKING

Pawnbroking primarily focuses on providing an alternative credit solution to customers who wish to engage in fast credit facility. A microcredit laon will be disbursed in exchange for a valuable collateral, typically gold or expensive watches.

GOLD TRADING

EMC sources for gold from the market and trade to gold collector. In the future, EMC wishes to set up gold collection pointsfor the mass market who wish to dispose off their at fair price. Gold collected can be refined for mass distribution.

PAWNBROKING SOFTWARE

EMC invested in FinTech with initial intention of internal usage. EMC plans to introduce its pawnbroking software to the pawnbrokers in the market for a more affordable and customisable online software that can be accessed remotely.

INVESTOR RELATION

EMC adopt high financing margin up to 90% of valuation for gold in order to remain price competitive in the industry. Higher financing corresponds to higher interest collection. Moreover, adopting high financing margin retains and attracts old and new customers and thereby increasing EMC sales.

EMC PAWNBROKING

All pawnshop branches under EMC use a standardize logo with brand name “C”. A standardize brand log and name will instilled strong and lasting impression upon customers. Customers who patron different branches will receive the similar quality of service as the process flow and standard of procedures are standardize across all pawnshop branches.
